Ioana Wenchell

Ioana Wenchell is an insurance defense litigator and trial attorney with over 25 years of experience handling high-exposure, complex litigation in New York State and Federal Courts, handling matters from inception through verdict and appeal. With a proven first-chair trial record spanning Labor Law, catastrophic personal injury, commercial disputes, and property damage, Ioana brings deep courtroom experience to every case.

She also works closely with insurers and claims organizations on insurance coverage analysis and file-handling strategy. She has partnered with expert witnesses to build compelling, winning trial strategies. Beyond the courtroom, Ioana is a dedicated mentor, guiding junior attorneys and support staff to grow their skills and develop sound litigation judgment.

Ioana is admitted to practice before the New York State Bar, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
