Gumana Attal is an Associate in the firm’s General Liability Department, bringing a diverse background in judicial clerkships and specialized litigation to her practice.

Gumana joined the firm following her tenure as a Court Attorney for the Honorable Kerry J. Ward at Kings County Supreme Court. This experience within the Unified Court System provided her with a unique "behind-the-bench" perspective on civil litigation that she now uses to defend her clients. This is complemented by her work on high-volume discovery and complex litigation projects for premier global firms, including Arnold & Porter and Hogan Lovells. In these roles, she managed critical document review and analysis for large-scale matters, ensuring precision in fast-paced legal environments.

During her time at New York Law School, Gumana served as a teaching assistant for Personal Injury Torts and Commercial Contracts. She also developed a versatile background in both transactional and advocacy roles through clinical work at New York Law School and internships with the New York Legal Assistance Group, Pamela Rosario Law, and Travelers Insurance.

Complementing her legal acumen, Gumana holds a Master’s degree in Modern Literature and Culture from King’s College London. Her dissertation on J.M. Barrie’s Peter Pan reflects a sophisticated analytical ability and a deep interest in the cultural evolution of the Victorian era.
